Connection to the MultiVPN Service in Windows 7

Download and run the OpenVPN application at:

/files/openvpn-install-2.4.6-I602-Win7.exe

Click "Next"

License Agreement. Click "I Agree"

Components to install. Leave by default. Click "Next"

Choosing an installation path. Leave by default. Click "Install"

OpenVPN Installation Process

Allow the installation of the TAP adapter

Installation is complete, click "Next"

Uncheck the "Show Readme" checkbox and close the installer. Click "Finish"

Right-click on the OpenVPN GUI shortcut on the desktop and select "Properties". In the window that appears, on the "Compatibility" tab, enable the OpenVPN program with administrator rights. Run the OpenVPN program on your computer

The first launch of the OpenVPN GUI may be followed by the following message. Click "OK"

Download and unzip OpenVPN configuration files according to your tariff plan. In this example, these will be RSA configuration files for the "OpenVPN" tariff plan

OpenVPN configuration files from the unpacked archive, add the OpenVPN program to the "config" folder. That the OpenVPN client could begin to work with them. Usually, this is the path: "C:\Users\USERNAME\OpenVPN\config"

In the tray, right-click on the already running OpenVPN program and select the server to connect. In this example, it will be: DE1 - Germany and select the "Connect" menu item

In the authorization window that opens, enter your username and password to connect. Login = Your E-Mail in billing service and password for authorization. Click "OK"

Wait a few seconds while the OpenVPN client connects to the VPN server. After connecting, the window will disappear into tray

Done! Connection was successful!

Setup completed. Check your IP address in the browser.
